Flossie Hughes Scholarship Fund
The scholarship fund was established in May 1984. It was named to honor a very dedicated church member, vacation Bible school, Sunday School and public school teacher, Miss Flossie Hughes. Flossie was also a number of the Senior Usher Board, served on the Religion and Race Committee and was a member of the Communications Committee.
Because of her dedication to young people, it was only fitting to name the fund after her, enabling us to give support to our college students.
