Welcome to our new pastor

 Rev. Hattie Johnson-Holmes

Rev. Hattie Johnson-Holmes is an Elder in the Baltimore-Washington Conference. She received her Master’s of Divinity from Wesley Theological Seminary with a focus on urban ministry. She has been in pastoral service for 17 years and has served as chair of the Black Methodist for Church Renewal committee. She is currently serving on the District Committee on Ordained Ministry for the Greater Washington District and is the proud mother of Rev. Yolandra Michelle Johnson who serves as Youth Minister at Quinn Chapter AME Church in Frederick. This faith journey called ministry has been challenging and rewarding as well as insightful and humbling. Rev. Johnson-Holmes brings with her the love for teaching, worshipping, preaching, liturgical dance and the ability to encourage others to recognize and use their skills and talents. She also has a passion for the spiritual and academic formation of children and young people.
